Someone Shared With Us A Special Girl Just Like Nitro

A friend of mine sent me this link this morning and I wanted to share it with all of you in pet blogger world. This is an American Bulldog mix who is pure white and totally deaf. Her mane is Naomi. The story on this dog sounds very much like my deaf dog Nitro's story. She was dumped in an industrial area and the rescue folks say she is a very calm, sweet and loving. She loves other dogs and would be very easy to train. I will post the Petfinder information at the bottom of this post. It has been such an amazing experience training my deaf dog Nitro. Because he is deaf, he picked up on ASL signs and commands so fast because he had no noise distractions in class. When Nitro is in class, he is totally focused on me. He went from Puppy Class to level 4 Training Class in six weeks. At 10 months he has already passed his CGC Test. I think Naomi would have the same level of success if someone invested some time in her. I have  a good feeling about Naomi here. She sounds like she would be so much fun to train and love. If you are looking for that special bond to share with a dog, this might be your girl.
