Since I was posting about heat stroke in dogs this morning, I decided to change the water in our doggie pool and go out and get the dogs to jump in the pool to cool them off. Today it is 100+ degrees in Roanoke, VA. Nitro was the one who really loves the pool so here is a short video of Nitro and I playing in the pool. Tallulah was also having a good time. Nitro was soaking wet after our pool party and now he is napping in his crate.
My name is Christina and this is what started out to be my dog/horse blog named after my dog Lexi. Slowly my blog has morphed into a dog/life/farm blog. I love to take photos of everything relating to the farm and local events. I am also a Design Junkie and love to take my old run down ranch and redesign every inch into my dream retreat. Join Lexi, myself and all the delightful creatures at Bluebird Farm and have a peek inside our wonderful world... "The World According To Lexi"
Thanks for sharing this video. Love seeing them get a good cooling off. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt sure looks like a great way to cool off! Mom tries very hard buts I still won't get in my pool. :(

You are kidding it's hot! We're having the same weather from hell here in DC area, too!
ReplyDeleteMack and Minnie wouldn't get in their pool either, but it's nice to see that some do and really enjoy it!
Thanks for sharing,

Great way to cool off Nitro! Tallulah looks so cute running around with the ball. :)
