I spent the last few days taking photos of all the Fall colors on the trees here at Bluebird Farm and in our small town of Salem Virginia. Nitro and I drove into town and took a walk near the golf course in Salem. I was even lucky enough to photograph a flock of geese flying in a V formation over the golf course. This is my first shot at putting together a photo slide show on YouTube. As I sit here writing this post, it is snowing outside so I'm glad I spent some time getting these photos taken before all the leaves are gone.

Since the days are getting shorter, the dogs are starting to go into hibernation mode so I thought I would share some intense napping photos with you. It's time to rest up until next spring!

Saturday Pet Blogger Hop - 10-15-2011 Dogtoberfest 2011

We had a great time at Dogtoberfest this year. We went in the morning because there was a Wind Advisory for later in the day. It was still chilly and windy so we didn't stay as long as we normally do. Here are some photos of this year's Dogtoberfest to benefit Saint Francis Service Dogs.

This dog looked just like my Tallulah but it was a mixed breed called a Bugg. A Bugg is a Boston-Pug Mix and Tallulah is a Chihuahua-Pug mix called a Chug Dog. This dog was probably about 5 or 6 pounds heavier then my Tallulah.

These are the folks Nitro and I are training with so we can be a registered Pet Partners Team through Delta Therapy Pet Partners Program.

I love English Bulldogs and I thought this guy was so cute!

We took lots of photos of this dog last year. He has one blue eye and one brown eye like Nitro.

We saw this stunning Great Pyrenees. So soft and beautiful. According to Nitro, she was gorgeous!

This pup belongs to my friend Dick who was working Dogtoberfest this year but he decided he would go ahead and bring his Cavalier King Charles Spaniel to work with him.

She was so cute in her pink coat I decided to add a pink tint to her photo. She was very shy with Nitro and I.

These dogs belong to our friends from Cross View Farm. They have the best Pit Bull dogs around!

Our friend Laura just adopted this Blue Heeler from the Franklin Co. Humane Society.
